Rape reported Thursday in Opelika

An alleged rape was reported Thursday morning at a residence in the 1000 block of York Avenue in Opelika, according to authorities. The report states the rape involved a 15-year-old victim and an 18-year-old suspect and reportedly occurred at 7:10 a.m., Sept. 4, according to Opelika police Capt. Allan Elkins.
